Kashmira Jayaprakash is a Surface Pattern Designer and Illustrator based in Kerala, India. She graduated from NIFT, India with a degree in fashion design and also studied Fashion Media, Marketing, and communication at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, London, UK.
Kashmira, in love with colours ever since she could remember, finds utmost joy in bringing beautiful colours together to let their magic unfold. The pursuit of her passion led her to surface pattern design, where she didn’t have to look far for inspiration.
Growing up surrounded by lush green trees, tropical flowers, birds, and animals, it was only natural that they walked into her illustrations and bloomed.
Her adventurous yet calm spirit is delightfully reflected in her work, which has an abundance of hand-drawn florals - dynamic as well as still life, captivating colour schemes, and artistic strokes. She believes in living mindfully, doing what she loves, and spreading joy through her art.
